Join our street gardening crew!

The Melbourne Pollinator Corridor is community-driven which means we rely on our team of dedicated volunteers to help create and manage the gardens for everyone to enjoy.

We would love you to join us!

Session times are every Friday from 10-12 and most Saturdays from 2-4.

Locations of sessions are sites in the Melbourne Pollinator Corridor zone.

We are currently recruiting volunteers that can regularly give at least 2 hours a month.

Are our gardening sessions for you?

Are you a local like Jennie who wants to…

  • help create positive change?

  • get outside into the fresh air?

  • connect with like-minded people?

  • learn about street gardening?

  • make your area more beautiful?

Are you a student like Charlotte who wants to…

  • learn about our work in urban biodiversity conservation and regeneration?

  • have the edge when gaining employment and applying for scholarships?

  • break up the written study with practical hands-on learning?

Are you a person like Doris who wants to…

  • take action to address climate anxiety and create hope?

  • improve your mental health?

  • be a part of something much bigger that is growing every day?

  • help change our city for the better of everyone and everything?

“Volunteering with the MPC street gardening crew is great for my mental health and gets me spending time outdoors, being active and connecting with an amazing group of people.”
